A native of
Munich, Germany, she now maintains her home and studios in Sault Ste.
Marie, Michigan and Clewiston, Florida.
After studying art in Germany, Canada, and all over the US, she
attended many workshops with America's greatest artists. She now
teaches watercolor and mixed-media workshops all over the United States
and abroad with annual workshops in Florida and Mackinac Island,
Michigan.
Helga's professional recognitions are many. She has been:
--Accepted into the Exhibitions of the International Society of
Experimental Artists as
an ISEA Signature Member.
--Accepted into the exhibitions of the Transparent Watercolor Society
of America.
--Recipient of Featured Artist Award at Art On The Rocks, Marquette, MI
--Recipient of Purchase Award for the permanent collection
of the
Michigan National
Bank Corporation, Detroit, MI
--Recipient of Honorary Membership in the Southern
Arizona Watercolor Guild.
Helga is a sought after judge, juror and guest speaker in many art
related events. Highlights of her last couple years were teaching a
workshop in Costa Rica, Bahamas and a sold out exhibition in
Germany. She is also proud of her design of a
cover of a musical
CD which was created for Phonosound, Munich, Germany. She has two
instructional watercolor videos available.

Autobiographical book, "WARCHILD"
